Our Story

Third House Arts officially launched on June 1st, 2025, but the vision behind it had been growing steadily for many years. Founded by Jennifer and Chris Schooley along with their family, THA was born from a shared family passion for creative expression and excellent performance. We knew from the very start who we wanted to be as a company, and that shaped our three core values: Inclusivity, Excellence, and Collaboration.

The idea for our company started in our family’s kitchen, probably with the TV playing something that no one was watching in the next room, and our family talking and laughing through mouthfuls of whatever was for dinner that night. It happened slowly, with “what if’s.” Those became “one day’s,” and those all gradually became Third House Arts.

We don’t think art matters. We know it does, because it has shaped our family’s story for decades. Every show, workshop, and event reflects our beliefs: that the arts are for everyone. That the arts deserve the same mastery and effort of any other skill. And that they are best when we create together.
